Marcel Somerville has been left “devastated” after his car was broken into while he took girlfriend Gabby Allen to see a show in London.

The Love Island star claimed thieves smashed into his vehicle and took his laptop and USB which contained samples of his new music.

Somerville posted a picture of his broken windscreen on Instagram and urged anyone with information to come forward.

He wrote: “#Devastated can’t believe how vile some people are in this world. Took Gabs to see a show and to dinner, come back to that and my mcm bag gone with my MacBook pro in it with all the parts to my new tune and my USB with every sample I’ve collected over the last 10 years!

“I’m fuming! Absolutely gutted. It happened in Holborn so if someone offers you a mcm bag or a MacBook give me shout.”

Somerville didn’t mention if he has reported the theft to the police.

Fans rallied round the reality TV star with supportive messages, with many branding the perpetrators “scumbags”.

Love Island's Marcel Somerville stutters through This Morning phone-in

Somerville and Allen met on last year’s Love Island where they missed out on winning to Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay, who later split.

The couple recently opened up about their relationship, revealing they are ready to take it to the next step.

Allen said: “We're discussing getting a dog. I am desperate for one!

“We just don't know whether it would fit our lifestyle at the moment.”

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Somerville for comment.
