Louise Redknapp has shared her first Instagram post without her wedding ring, days after her divorce from Jamie Redknapp was finalised.

The newly-single star was ring-free in a new video uploaded to her public Instagram account on Monday night, promoting her fashion blog’s YouTube channel.

In the first post since she was granted a decree nisi last Friday, Redknapp can be seen joking around with friend Emma Thatcher and holding up her hands to the camera.

She captioned the clip: “We’ve just launched A Style Album’s You Tube Channel. click the link in my bio to watch our first video & subscribe! @astylealbum @emmarosestyle #LouandEm #FashionBlog #StyleBlog.”

The former Eternal singer was seen out without her wedding ring for the first time on New Year’s Eve when she performed at London nightclub G-A-Y.

On Friday afternoon, the former couple had their 19-year marriage dissolved at the Central Family Court in London.

The Redknapps married in 1998 on a luxury 130ft yacht called Lady Tamara in Bermuda and have two sons, Charley, 12, and nine-year-old Beau.

Paperwork showed that Mrs Redknapp had filed for divorce and said the marriage had irretrievably broken down because of Mr Redknapp's "unreasonable behaviour".

Following her successful stint on last year’s Strictly, the singer said she had finally found the confidence to relaunch her career and be something other than a “Stepford Wife”.

"I lost myself. It happens to a lot of women when they get married and have children,” she told Hello magazine.

“When you have a family, you may not perform for a long time. It’s very easy to fall into a comfort zone, thinking ‘I used to do that’.

“I realised just how much I loves singing, dancing, performing, and the thought of not having the opportunity to not carry on doing it was kind of devastating for me.”
