Simon Cowell has dropped a charity single to raise money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

The music mogul, 57, said he wanted to help after being left “heartbroken” by last week’s devastating blaze which killed 79 people.

The X Factor judge rallied together fifty musicians to record a version of the Simon and Garfunkel classic, Bridge Over Troubled Water, with all proceeds going to Artists for Grenfell. These will be distributed via The London Community Foundation.

Here’s everything you need to know about the star-studded track:

The track was played on multiple radio stations across the UK from 8am on Wednesday morning and is available on streaming service, Spotify. It will also air on ITV before Coronation Street later tonight.

How do I donate?

The song can be downloaded on iTunes here and it is also available to stream on Spotify – but the money raised from a stream is significantly lower than the money raised from buying the single.
