Lily Allen suffered an unfortunate wardrobe mishap performing at V Festival in Chelmsford at the weekend.

The singer's Bowie-esque silver cat suit failed to preserve her modesty during the gig. The same outfit already seen her flash more than she intended while opening for Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz tour but she wore it again, shouting “Hashtag sorry not sorry!” at the crowds.

The singer has hit the UK festival circuit hard this summer performing at Glastonbury and taking over the headline slot at Latitude festival after Two Door Cinema Club were forced to pull out.

Allen, 29, has recently been performing surrounded by a set of giant baby bottles as a nod to her two daughters Ethel and Marnie with husband, Sam Cooper.

Her latest single As Long As I've Got You is a tribute to Cooper who she married in 2007.

Having completed her stint supporting Miley Cyrus in the states, Allen will perform a solo UK tour in November and December.
