All hope is lost.

Liam Gallagher has appeared to confirm his plea for an Oasis reunion has been unsuccessful.

Liam reached out to his brother Noel to get the band back together, telling him to stop “f****** about” – but it doesn’t look like he’s listening.

On Thursday he tweeted: “Earth to noel listen up rkid I hear your doing gigs where people can't drink alcohol now that's the BeZarist thing you've done yet I forgive you now let's get the BIG O back together and stop f****** about the drinks are on me LG x.”

He later added: “Cmon.”

But he updated fans on Friday, revealing he’s been met with silence. “I’ll take that as a NO then,” he tweeted. “As you were LG x.”

After a fan suggested Liam was only keen on a reunion for the financial benefits, he snapped back: “I’d do it for nowt me it's not all about the money honey.”

Fans begged with Liam to try again, while a disappointed Sara Cox tweeted: “Ah balls.”

The brothers have been feuding since Oasis split in 2009, with Liam frequently calling Noel a potato and Noel branding Liam a “village idiot”.

Liam last year declared his brother worse than North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Asked who he thought should be crowned Villain of the Year at the NME Awards he said: “Gotta be Noel. I’m being serious. You’re laughing, but he’s worse than Kim-Jun f****** Tung or whatever he’s called.

“And he’s worse than Donald Trump. He’s the biggest liar and biggest faker in the business, so yeah, him.”
