Liam Gallagher and The Who's Roger Daltrey to form supergroup for TFI Friday comeback
Singer Liam Gallagher will perform with The Who’s Roger Daltrey and a host of famous artists for the TFI Friday comeback episode.
The pair will form a supergroup with Ian Broudie of The Lightning Seeds and Ringo Starr’s son Zak Starkey when the show returns on Friday June 12.
"Liam's got a bit of time on his hands since Beady Eye called it a day last year so he fancied trying his hand at something new," a source also told The Sun.
"He's told his mates he's pretty bored. Other than Noel, you would be hard pushed to find a better set of bandmates than Roger, Ian and Zak.
"It's a proper supergroup and the performance will be something to remember."

The as of yet unnamed group will perform The Who’s 1965 hit My Generation alongside a live line-up that includes Blur, Stone Roses, Rudimental and Years & Years.
Hosted by Chris Evans, the Channel 4 show will make a one off comeback to celebrate it's 20th anniversary.
In its heyday the popular TV show played host to a raft of stars including David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Dame Helen Mirren who would take part in a series of challenges in segments like Freak or Unique, It’s Your Letters and Show Us Your Face Then.
TFI Friday will air at 9pm on Channel 4 this Friday.
