Lea Michele insists it "feels good" to be on the set of Glee just three weeks after the tragic death of her co-star-turned-boyfriend Cory Monteith.

The 26-year-old actress has thrown herself back into playing her over-bearing character Rachel Berry on the teen drama just three weeks after her co-star-turned-boyfriend Cory Monteith suddenly died from a drug overdose, but she admits she feels most comfortable in that environment with the rest of the cast around her.

She took to Twitter today to post a snap of her in character, sitting on the bed, gazing at the floor, which is believed to be a preview of the upcoming season five.

She wrote: "Feels so good to be home..."

Lea said earlier this week she couldn't wait to get her teeth stuck in to the new season and fall back into the nature of her bossy alter-ego.

She said: "First day of glee today. And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much (sic)."

Glee bosses are doing a memorial episode for Cory - who portrayed Finn Hudson - which will reference the dangers of substance misuse.

Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly said: "The third episode will write Finn out of the show.

"That episode will deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory's passing and the drug abuse in particular."
