Wet and windy start

We arrived Friday morning just as a major downpour spilled from the heavens. What a start!

This year I slept with seven friends in the teepees by The Park stage. My trusty Hunter Sliders were my 'tent footwear.'

Wet start: Laura dons her wellies and raincoat early on.

Friday night... Saturday morning

The brilliant Florence... After her headline performance we watched her DJ the lands end bar in the park area in the early hours of Saturday morning, watched on by Daisy Lowe, Grimmy, Rio Ferdinand, Annie Mac, Douglas Booth, Mark Ronson, Dermot O'leary. There was a lot of dancing.

Amazing set: The brilliant Florence headlining Friday night

Breakfast on Saturday morning was veggie sausages and fried egg roll.

1/21

Saturday morning, my first band of the day was the brilliant 'Sunset Sons' played the John Peel stage to a full crowd. If you haven't already check them out.

Shout out to the brilliant Wateraid and the numerous water kiosks all over the festival where you could refill water bottles complimentary. Cutting down on plastic bottle waste and keeping everyone hydrated.

Representing the Irish: Laura hangs out with friend Niall Horan.

Snoozing, silent discos and The Strypes

I had a little snooze in the Snoozebox hotel and a quick shower Saturday afternoon. It's such a cool concept - shipping containers that have been turned into little luxurious sanctuaries.

We checked out the silent disco... Wearing Minkpink and Moschino.

Silent disco: Minpink and Moschino

I watched The Strypes on Saturday on the other stage. Love those guys.

Easy like Sunday Morning

Lionel Ritchie on the Pyramid stage on Sunday Afternoon (singing Easy Like Sunday Mornings).

Until next year Glastonbury – you have been epic!

Bye: Until next year Glastonbury!
