What better way to mark the start of the World Cup than with the launch of a pop-up pub for women.

TV presenter and sports fanatic Kirsty Gallacher teamed up with Benefit cosmetics for the VIP launch of the Gabbi’s Head in central London.

Last night's guests included actress Samantha Barks and reality star Amber Atherton who were treated to a sneak peak inside the football haven on Covent Garden’s Drury Lane before its official launch today.

The pub is worlds away from your typical beer swilling local. Pink chairs and chic interiors with tanning sessions and brow bars offer a welcome haven for women who want to get pampered while watching the World Cup.

Once all attendees were in place, Kirsty toasted the night with a ‘Bene-berry’ mojito - before partygoers were then able to watch the first match of the championship where Brazil beat Croatia with a score of 3-1.

Made in Chelsea’s Ashley James arrived with boyfriend Matt Richardson - who was recently told that he won’t be returning to this years Xtra Factor.
