Kim Kardashian has opened up about her brother Rob's decision to remove himself from the public eye, blaming it on 'weed' and 'beer.'

In a brand new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the KUWTK star claims that her younger brother is 'uncomfortable' with being in the show since 'gaining weight'.

She said: "It's not that mysterious, what's happening with Rob. He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that's OK.

"Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes."

The 22-year-old, who is rarely spotted out and about, has withdrawn from public life and hasn't appeared in the E! reality show for months.

Speaking on a recent episode, the pregnant star said of her brother: "Everyone licks Rob's a** and does whatever he says.

"It's just like, at some point you just have to give it up. We all make his life so easy."

She added: "I think I'm just more of the tough love kind of person. My personality is like, 'All right, you complain, you don't like it, get up and do something about it.'"
