Jennifer Lopez grabs attention in revealing dress at birthday celebrations

Singer Jennifer Lopez proved that age is just a number as she dressed for a birthday weekend to celebrate turning 46.

The Jenny from the Block singer went out to party in a tight fitting black lace dress which featured cut out panels and a very revealing neckline.

The number was from American designer Bao Tranchi who has clothed the likes of Rita Ora and designed Selena Gomez's costume in Taylor Swift’s video for Bad Blood.

The Grammy award winning artist looked fierce as she danced the night away with friends including French Montana and on-off boyfriend Casper Smart - and even took to the DJ booth at 1 Oak nightclub in Southampton, New York.

A source told US Weekly: “She was dancing all night, and she looked amazing.”

Lopez's longtime producer and mentor Benny Medina made a toast and surprised her with a giant cake.

Singer Natasha Bedingfield was also at the party and had joined Lopez earlier in the day as they partied on board a yacht.

Despite not attending the celebrations, reality TV star Kim Kardashian could not resist commenting on J.Lo’s choice of attire.

Alongside a picture of the singer on Instagram she wrote: “Damn!!!!! How hot does @jlo look!!!!! She will forever be my idol!!!! #BodyGoals.”
