James Corden takes to the mic for impromptu rap on night out with One Direction's Niall Horan

James Corden put all of his Carpool Karaoke skills to good use when he took to the mic for a live rap on a night out with Niall Horan.

The 37-year-old Late Late Show host was enjoying a short stay in London and joined One Direction’s Horan for a night at exclusive club, Tape.

Keen to show off his rhyming skills, Corden grabbed the mic and rapped over Skrillex and Diplo’s Where are U Now.

A video shows the Gavin and Stacey actor gearing up his fellow clubbers and shouting “OK, you ready” before launching into the impromptu performance.

He raps flawlessly throughout the song as the crowd dance and cheer him on.

Speaking at the event Corden - who has recorded a Christmas single with Kylie Minogue - said: “Love being back in the UK! Fun to get on the mic and Tape London and party with Niall – we had the best night.”

It’s not the first time that the presenter has showed off his rapping skills.

Earlier this year he invited Iggy Azalea to join him for a Carpool Karaoke session and Corden rapped flawlessly to her single Black Widow.

He also proved that he can rhyme as well as he can sing when he rapped the opening monologue to The Late Late Show with the help of some beats from Mark Ronson back in April.
