Jack Fincham shuts down engagement rumours after sharing selfie with mystery woman

Calm down everyone, Jack Fincham isn’t engaged after all.

The 29-year-old stunned his 2.1 million Instagram followers yesterday when he uploaded a snap of himself posing alongside a mystery woman – who appeared to be wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

However, Fincham admitted the photo only appeared this way due to some unintentional camera trickery resulting in the image being mirrored.

When quizzed by TOWIE star Liam Gatsby what was going on in the photo, the Love Island series four winner champion joked he had “taken the plunge”.

But as Gatsby, 31, offered his congratulations, Fincham said: “Bro it’s the other camera, no engagement here,” followed by a string of crying-laughter emojis.

The woman in the snap was identified by the Sun newspaper to be Connie O’Hara, who has previously chosen to stay out of the spotlight.

The faux-“engagement” news comes after former stationery salesman Fincham shocked fans when he announced he was expecting a baby less than a year after splitting up with his Love Island co-star Dani Dyer.

After a brief fling with health compliance office Casey Ranger, the pair welcomed baby Blossom in January. While they were no longer together when Blossom was born, both Fincham and Ranger are happy co-parenting.

“I’ve taken to fatherhood like a duck to water. I absolutely love it,” he told The Sun in February.

“She’s my focus, my priority. I want to work as hard as I can, earn as much as I can, so I can give her the best life possible.

“Me and Case are just mates, we are simply focusing on being the best mum and dad we can and figuring out this co-parenting thing.”

Dyer herself is now expecting a baby of her own with new boyfriend Sammy Kimmence – and has since revealed she will not be finding out the sex of the baby in advance.
