‘It couldn’t happen to a better person’: Lamar Odom pays sweet tribute to ex-wife Khloe Kardashian after pregnancy announcement

Lamar Odom has paid a sweet tribute to his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, revealing he was “really happy for her” when he found out she was pregnant.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 38-year-old revealed his joy over Kardashian’s pregnancy announcement with current boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

The former American basketball player said: “To tell you the truth, it couldn’t happen to a better person.

“I was really happy for her. If she could take of a grown man for four years the way she took care of me, I know she could take care of a baby.”

Speaking about the life the child is likely to lead as a Kardashian, Odom said: “That’s gonna be one spoiled a** baby.”

The news comes after the TV personality revealed she is struggling with pregnancy pains.

On a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she divulged details on how she “literally can’t walk”.

Kardashian first confirmed her pregnancy on an episode of the much-loved show as she revealed a positive test in front of her family.

She first revealed the news to assistant, Alexa Okyle, holding up the test and saying: "Oh my God, there are two lines?"

Unable to hold back her excitement, the star said: "Yeah, clear as day. I am pregnant. I don't want anyone to know because I wanna tell them when I'm with Tristan.”

She later added: “I am super nervous, but really excited. There's a million different emotions that are going through my brain but I think I'm almost in a state of shock.

“I almost can't believe it but then it's good shock.”

The little one will be the third baby to be born into the Kardashian-Jenner clan in 2018 following the birth of Chicago West to Kim and Kanye West and Stormi Webster to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
