Kim Kardashian pregnant: Star reveals she is expecting baby number two with Kanye West

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has revealed she is expecting her second child with husband Kanye West.

Kim, 34 - who has publicly documented her struggles with fertility - announced the news during Sunday night's mid season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

In a teaser clip for the upcoming episodes the mother-of-one can be seen telling her shocked sister Khloe Kardashian: "I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!"

Shortly before the show aired Kim hinted at a surprise when she tweeted: "Who is excited for tonight's KUWTK finale?!?!?! There's some exciting news to share so make sure you tune in!!!!!"

Kim - who already has one year old daughter North with West - recently opened up about the hardship they have faced conceiving baby number two.

"We are trying," she told E! News. "We try every single day. You can't try harder than we try. It's getting exhausting. He always says, 'Trying for baby No. 2 isn't as fun as trying to baby No. 1'."

She continued: "But we're literally trying everything that we can to make it happen, so I'm to the point now where it's not as stressful to me. And maybe that's when they say it happens."

Fans were quick to speculate over the name of the power couple's new child with some joking that the new addition should be called South West.

One user tweeted: "Kim K pregnant? I wonder what's next South West, East West or West West to accompany North West."

Another even suggested the pair take inspiration from the Wild West, posting: "Kardashian baby 2.0 will be named Wild West."
