Selena Gomez says her teenage heart-throb boyfriend is a "hopeless romantic".

The Wizards of Waverly Place star had a wonderful surprise when Bieber hired out the Staples Centre in Los Angeles for a private screening of Titanic just because she said she felt like seeing it.

She was clearly impressed by his efforts: "He really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car - all I said is that I really wanted to see Titanic again, and then..."

Selena rose to fame thanks to the Disney Channel, but she admits it is no where near as tough as most people expect it to be. She added: "Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can't work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That's absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it."

However it was Jennifer Lopez who inspired Selena to get into Hollywood after she saw her wearing a bustier in the movie Selena.

She said: "I made a bustier out of a bathing suit that I dyed black. I put glue and glitter all over it and I wouldn't take it off!"
