Heidi Klum put on a hair raising Halloween display as she paid homage to Michael Jackson.

Klum, 44, transformed into the late pop icon from his 1983 video for Thriller for her 18th Annual Halloween Party in New York City.

The supermodel donned full werewolf prosthetics complete with whiskers, fangs, giant paws for hands and yellow eyes.

She teamed the look with blue denim jeans, brown loafers and a red varsity jacket with Jackson's initial.

She made sure to perfect every detail in a bid to recreate the 14 minute John Landis video and arrived through a cloud of smoke onto the red carpet while being flanked by a group of zombies.

Klum was in the make-up chair for six hours as a team of professionals undertook the painstaking task of transforming her into the mythical beast.

She teased the look online in a handful of videos showing her having her new teeth fitted and running her hand down her 'hairy chest'.

Klum is famous for going all out on Halloween having previously transformed into Jessica Rabbit, an old woman and a gorilla.

She kicked off the extravagant costumes in 2000 when she dressed up as a goth before channelling Lady Godiva the following year, which saw her make a grand entrance to her party on a white horse.

Last year she 'cloned' herself by transforming five women into her.

Scores of celebs were out celebrating the spooky occasion on Tuesday night with Jonathan Ross welcoming his famous friends to his annual house party.

Alan Carr dressed up as 'memay' sensation Gemma Collins in her famous orange dress with shoulder pads, Holly Willoughby transformed into a unicorn alongside her husband Dan as the tin man, while Frank Skinner turned to the Dark Side as Kylo Ren, but carried a red lilo as a pun on the Star Wars character.
