Emily Atack has been blanked by Jamie Redknapp after trying to make a move on the retired footballer.

Atack, 29, attempted to bag herself a date with Jamie after her three week stint on I’m A Celebrity with his father Harry Redknapp.

On jetting back from Down Under she revealed he hasn’t reached out – but that hasn’t stopped Atack from trying.

After a grilling on Friday morning’s Capital Breakfast Show she admitted to following him on Instagram.

“Has there been any progress with that?” Rob Howard asked. “Pretend the whole of London, and probably Jamie himself, isn't listening.”

Atack replied: “No, I feel so sorry for Jamie. I’ve ruined his life. I haven’t even started going out with him yet.

“I followed him on Instagram – but no joy back.”

Howard pleaded with the football pundit to grant Atack her “Christmas wish” saying: “Jamie if you’re listening please make Emily’s Christmas wish come true and follow her back.”

Scared she has upset him, she apologised, adding: “That won’t ruin his Christmas will it with bombarding mad people. Poor thing. Jamie I’m very sorry.”

Atack made several plays for Jamie during her time in the jungle, telling Harry she would make “a really good daughter-in-law”.

Jamie later hinted he isn't looking for love after he was grilled on what he thinks is more likely: Liverpool winning the Champions League or him taking Atack on a date.

“What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out,” he told Dean Saunders on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Breakfast show.

“Listen, she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”
