EastEnders' Ray and Kim will see "explosions" in an upcoming storyline - which is said to "test" their relationship.
The couple are set to have their relationship "tested", though Tameka Empson, who plays Kim, refused to explain what the future holds for the pair.
Speaking at the Inside Soap awards in London last night where she picked up Funniest Female, Tameka told BANG Showbiz: "I think you will see Ray and Kim being tested - tested about their relationship, you know.
"What else can I say? Keep tuned! It's secret! But there will be explosions."
However, Chucky Venn, who plays Ray, has hinted that marriage could be in store for the couple.
He said: "Coming up we get to see the other side of Ray, so maybe he has acquired that big ring.
"For Kim that's quite essential. Everybody must know that Kim has an engagement ring, so no pressure then."
The BBC soap picked up a total of seven awards last night - triumphing over 'Hollyoaks', 'Emmerdale' and 'Coronation Street'.
Chucky didn't seem too surprised about their big wins though, saying: "I've always said - 'EastEnders' is the UK's number one soap.
"It's unpredictable, it's exciting, it's fun, it's wistful, it's dramatic - it's all of the above. And it has courage and gumption to do some serious storylines.
"The actual feedback is so positive. It's the reason I love the show."
