Robbie Williams is reportedly set to be joined by David Walliams at the X Factor Judges' Houses.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge will supposedly assist the Angels singer in deciding which of the groups will go through to the next stage of the competition, according to the Radio Times.

The publication also claimed that an image shared by 47-year-old Walliams on Instagram was a preview of his Judges' Houses appearance.

The snap showed the comedian suited-and-booted alongside the former Take That star, who donned a floral pink shirt, in front of what appeared to be a sunny backdrop.

He captioned the image: “With @Robbiewilliams.”

Standard Online has contacted representatives of ITV for comment.

The report comes after speculation that Williams was forced to comfort wife Ayda Field after she supposedly broke down on the show during filming.

Field was supposedly left in tatters after she was faced with the prospect of having to send home members from her category, the Overs, according to The Sun.

Producers reportedly had to take a long break and stop filming in a bid to console the 39-year-old, with Williams even making an attempt to help calm her down.

A source told the publication: “She completely broke down when she had to say no to her contestants.

“At one point she was crying really badly and they had to stop filming. Robbie went in to console her and was hugging her and trying to calm her down.

“All the show’s execs were trying to help but she was a mess, it really hit her hard.”
