Singer Dannii Minogue is set to return to The X Factor as a mentor alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini during the Judges Houses stage of the competition, according to reports.
Minogue, 43, worked as a judge on the ITV reality show from 2007 to 2010 and won twice with Leon Jackson and Matt Cardle.
A source told The Metro: “The biggest news this year is the return of Dannii Minogue – she has been requested by Cheryl.
“Dannii is doing her judges’ houses for the Australian version of the show in the UK this year and as Cheryl is doing hers in France, it’s quite an easy distance for Dannii to travel.”
X Factor London auditions
It was last week announced that hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack will not be jet setting to present from the judge’s houses.
In a shake-up of the show, the pair – who replaced Dermot O’Leary – will remain at Wembley Arena to present the new live element to the segment.
