John Legend has hosted a wedding ceremony for his dogs.

The Ordinary People singer scattered rose petals down the aisle and dressed his bulldog and French bulldog, Puddy and Pippa, in a suit and bridal gown as they enjoyed their big day at the singer's home.

Legend, 36, serenaded the loved up pups with his song All of Me as he raised a toast, cut the cake, posed for goofy photos in a booth and upheld traditions by throwing the bouquet - which was caught by the groom.

The romantic ceremony was disturbed by his wife Chrissy Teigen who walked in on her husband singing to the newlyweds.

Looking awkward Legend proclaimed, "Oh s***!" before Teigen ran to "go get a dress".

The ceremony was set up to promote Legend's charity The Show Me Campaign which has launched a charity fundraising appeal in aid of South High School in Springfield, Ohio.

Those who donate will be put into a prize draw to win a private performance with the singer at an event of their choice.
