Beyoncé has reportedly been trying to build bridges between Jay Z and Kanye West.

The superstar, who was the target of West’s latest on-stage rant before his hospitalisation this week, has ‘urged’ her husband to step in.

According to reports, the pop power couple are planning to privately reach out to West and wife Kim Kardashian.

“When Kanye’s mother Donda died, it was Bey and Jay that Kanye turned to,” a source told The Sun.

“They were his number one comforters, with Beyoncé even playing Connect 4 with him to take his mind off things.

“They’re now planning to reach out to Kanye quietly and in private to avoid any media storm but just to let him know they are there for him.”

West has publically blasted both Jay and Beyoncé in recent weeks following Kardashian’s attack in Paris during fashion week.

The rapper lashed out at Jay for failing to get in touch with him after the incident, telling the crowd at his Seattle gig:

“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say "how you feelin?" You wanna know how I’m feelin? Come by the house.

“Bring the kids by the house. Like we're brothers. Let's sit down."

Last Saturday West slammed Beyoncé on stage, saying: “Beyonce I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and Hotline Bling.

“In my opinion, now, don’t go trying to diss Beyonce she is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people we are all equal but sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F****** winning. F*** being cool.”

West cancelled all of the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo tour on Monday, before being admitted to hospital following a ‘small incident’ at the gym.
