Azealia Banks has claimed that fellow rapper Kanye West ‘lost his credibility’ when he married Kim Kardashian.

The outspoken musician, who has become known for her controversial Twitter posts, told her followers that she no longer ‘looks up’ to the Life of Pablo star.

When a fan suggested that she could potentially become the female version of West, Banks responded by saying:

“Kanye lost all credibility when he became a Kardashian. I don't even look up to him anymore. i look past him...(sic).

“Kanye was put here to do major cultural work, which he's traded out for trying to make bootleg Jay Z moves."

Not holding back, Banks continued: “Yeezy used to be there for me, but I told him to stop giving away his ideas after he complained about Karl Lagerfeld x leather jogging pants.

“He told me I didn't have enough money to have an opinion, meanwhile he's the one begging for money from white billionaires.”

She added: “WHERE WAS YEEZY WHEN HE WAS 25? Was he where I am??? No. I told Kanye that STEALTH WAS WEALTH, and he told me that I hadn't kissed enough white a***s to have an opinion.”

Banks has become known for calling out other artist on Twitter, most recently Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey himself.
