Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has gone undercover as The Terminator to prank unsuspecting fans in Hollywood.

Schwarzenegger, 67, underwent a prosthetics session and donned a leather jacket and dark glasses for the hilarious video.

Walking down the street he can be seen telling one member of the public, “Come with me if you want to live” before heading into a sunglasses shop where he asks a woman if his gold framed spectacles “will protect from a shotgun blast”.

The former Governor of California then demands that a lorry driver get out of his vehicle, tells one man “Don’t bump into my selfie stick” and scares museum-goers in Madame Tussauds by speaking to them after pretending to be a waxwork.

Schwarzenegger tweeted the video out to his three million followers alongside the caption: “I went undercover in Hollywood as the @Terminator. It was an amazing time.”

It was filmed to raise money for After-School All-Stars charity - an organisation that provides after-school programmes to keep children safe. Schwarzenegger has collaborated with Omaze to encourage fans to donate money to the organisation to be in with a chance to join him at the Terminator Genisys premiere.

The video comes a day after the actor was pictured taking in London’s iconic landmarks on a Boris Bike.

In a series of Snapchat videos and selfies he treated fans to a glimpse of his visit to Buckingham Palace, before navigating the roundabout at Piccadilly Circus, or "Piccadilly Square" as Schwarzenegger referred to it, and cycling through Leicester Square and Regent Street.
