Former TOWIE star Amy Childs put on a model performance as she took to the catwalk to showcase her latest clothing collection.

Fellow reality TV personality Peter Andre and ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona turned out to support the designer for the launch of her Spring/Summer 2012 range.

Her appearance on the runway, in an array of figure-hugging garments, was greeted with massive applause from onlookers.

Earlier, she described her collection as a mixture of looks designed for all occasions - including Ascot.

"I've got a bit of everything - I've got long dresses, I've got little short ones," she said.

"I wanted to do a bit of everything for the summer."

Away from fashion, Childs - a beautician who found fame through her appearances on ITV2's "structured reality" show - said she was looking forward to meeting American socialite Paris Hilton and taking her to Essex.

"She's coming down to London in a couple of months and we'll definitely go out, 100%," she said.

"I'll take her to Nu Bar, in Loughton, and then I'll take her to Sugar Hut.

"She's got to have an Essex night out. Oh my God, she'll have an amazing time."

Andre, who arrived to introduce Childs' new collection, was full of praise for her latest venture.

"She looks great, I love what she wears," he said.

The Australian singer - who met his former wife Katie Price on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! - said he had struck up a close bond with Childs, the self-confessed "vajazzle queen" who is best known for her role in The Only Way Is Essex.

"Amy's one of my friends, she's so lovely," he added.

"She always comes to stuff that I do, she's always there, she's always supportive.

"When my brother fell ill, she was the first to get on the phone and say, 'Is everything all right? Is there anything I can do?' and so, you know, it's lots of love for her."

Childs' fashion range, which she launched in Camden, north London, includes a series of glittering party frocks, skimpy playsuits and colourful maxi-dresses.
