Romance will be in the air in the Big Brother house this week when the seven contestants stage a wedding ceremony.

Lovebirds Stuart and Michelle are hot favourites to play the bride and groom on Wednesday.

Other roles for the group include best man, father of the bride, bridesmaid, clergyman and chorister.

Each part carries responsibilities such as writing and delivering speeches, making outfits, guarding the rings, decorating the wedding cake, singing Pie Jesu, delivering the wedding service and dancing inappropriately at the reception.

And before the big event, the girls get to enjoy a day of pure pampering with manicures, bath oils and hair treatments, while the boys have a day playing with toys and gadgets.

There will also be hen and stag parties, for which the housemates have to dress up and provide "entertainment" for the opposite sex.

If housemates pass they will get a privilege pass and their shopping allowance for next week but if they fail they get neither and will be forced to survive on basic rations.

It will come as a welcome relief for the group, who have been forced to endure a string of harsh tasks including a back-to-school challenge, Army boot camp and Saturday's grim fish guts task which cost them £15,000 of the prize pot.
