Terry looking good for European clash

Chelsea's John Terry should be fit to face Juventus
18 September 2012

John Terry looks set to be fit for the first game of Chelsea's Champions League defence after coming through a training session on Monday.

Terry needed treatment on a knee injury in the dying moments of a fiery west London derby against QPR on Saturday.

That raised fears the England defender would not be able to take to the field for Wednesday's home clash against Juventus.

But he participated in a training session at the Blues' HQ in Cobham and should be fit to face the Italian giants.

John Obi Mikel suffered a slight back injury during the 0-0 draw at Loftus Road, but will be fit for Wednesday's game and Juan Mata trained through the weekend as he looks to return to full fitness for the game at Stamford Bridge.
