Robson into top 30
British number one Laura Robson has reached a career-high world ranking of 27 after her run to the fourth round of Wimbledon.
The 19-year-old, who beat Maria Kirilenko in her impressive SW19 run which ended at the hands of Kaia Kanepi, becomes the first British woman inside the top 30 since Jo Durie in 1987.
Rising from 38th, she is the highest-placed teenager in the rankings.
The news was not so good for British number two Heather Watson, who dropped from 56th to 68th following her first-round loss to Madison Keys, with the 18-year-old American rising to a career-high 45th.
Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli moved up from 18th to seventh, while Serena Williams remained top of the rankings despite her early exit, with Maria Sharapova moving second ahead of Victoria Azarenka.
Andy Murray remained second in the men's rankings, behind Novak Djokovic, despite his historic win over the Serb in Sunday's final.
Roger Federer dropped to fifth, with David Ferrer going third and Rafael Nadal fourth, while Wimbledon semi-finalist Jerzy Janowicz rose to a career-high 17th.
