Jagger's tribute at Scott funeral
Sir Mick Jagger has led mourners at a private funeral for his girlfriend L'Wren Scott in Los Angeles.
Around 70 family and friends are thought to have attended the service amid tight security at Hollywood Forever Funeral Home.
The 48-year-old fashion designer and former model committed suicide at her New York apartment on March 17.
A spokesman for the 70-year-old Rolling Stones frontman said: " A small private gathering of family and close friends attended a funeral service for L'Wren Scott today at Hollywood Forever Funeral Home in Los Angeles.
"The service with blessings and prayers led by Reverend Ed Bacon (All Saints Church in Pasadena, California) included memories and words of tribute from Mick Jagger, her brother Randy Bambrough, Justinian Kfoury, Ira M Hammons-Glass and Adam Glassman.
"Poems were shared by Jagger's daughter Karis, as well as Ellen Barkin. Mick's daughter, Jade, read Psalm 139, and his grandchildren, Mazie and Zak, read Psalm 23. Randy's daughter Hannah read Shakespeare Sonnet 18.
"'Will the Circle be Unbroken'" was sung by Bernard Fowler with Dave Stewart on guitar."
Ms Scott's high-end fashion label, launched in 2006, was a favourite among Hollywood stars like Nicole Kidman, Olivia Wilde, Tina Fey, Sarah Jessica Parker and first lady Michelle Obama.
But following news of her death, it emerged her eponymous label had been experiencing financial problems.
Last month the designer cancelled her London Fashion Week show, citing production delays.
Accounts filed by Ms Scott's LS Fashion Ltd in London show the company had liabilities that exceeded assets by £3.5 million as of December 31, 2012.
Said to be 6ft 4in tall and towering at least half a foot over her boyfriend, Ms Scott became well-known in Britain after she got together with Sir Mick in 2001.
She designed stage outfits for notable headline performances by the band at Glastonbury Festival and Hyde Park in recent years.
Originally called Luann Bambrough, Ms Scott was brought up as a Mormon in Utah, but changed her name to launch a modelling career in her teens.
Having worked in Paris for a number of years with the likes of Thierry Mugler and Karl Lagerfeld, she returned to the US as a stylist and worked as a wardrobe consultant for films such as Eyes Wide Shut and Ocean's Thirteen.
The Hollywood Forever Cemetery is one of the oldest in Los Angeles and is the resting place for silver screen stars such a s Rudolph Valentino and Jayne Mansfield.
Security staff at the funeral reportedly outnumbered mourners at the cemetery gates, which were closed to the public and media, and searched vehicles for cameras.
Sir Mick, who has described Ms Scott as his "lover and best friend", had been staying in a Beverly Hills hotel since the Rolling Stones cancelled a tour of Australia following the tragic news of her death.
