Rishi Sunak will today unveil a rescue package aimed at helping the self-employed get through the coronavirus crisis.

The number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK has risen by almost 1,500 as the death toll passed 460.

Some 9,529 people had tested positive by 9am on Wednesday, the Department of Health confirmed.

That's up from 8,077 at the same point a day earlier.

The latest figures were released after it was confirmed that the Prince of Wales had tested positive for Covid-19.
