A poster listing the “early warning signs of fascism” has been shared hundreds of thousands of times by anti-Donald Trump protesters.
Sarah Rose shared a photo of the poster, which hangs at the US Holocaust Museum, on Twitter on Monday, so far receiving over 114,000 retweets and 155,000 likes.
It lists the identifying features of a potentially fascist regime, including “powerful and continuing nationalism”, “distain for human rights” and “rampant sexism”.
And some believe the attributes on the list can be likened to Mr Trump's presidency.

"You get what I'm saying. We're doomed.”

The list was originally written by political scientist Laurence W. Britt in 2003.
The official day of remembrance for Holocaust victims was on Friday and although Mr Trump issued a statement he was critised for not including any mention of Jews.
That same day, he signed an executive order banning the immigration of residents of seven Muslim-majority nations in the Middle East.
And the day after his inaugaration, women from across world took to the streets decrying Mr Trump's stand on such issues as abortion, health care and diversity.
