A man was kicked off an airline flight from New York after allegedly accosting Ivanka Trump.
The daughter of President-elect Donald Trump was flying on the commercial JetBlue plane with her husband Jared Kushner and their children.
Another passenger reportedly shouted at the mother-of-three “your father is ruining the country” before being asked to leave the plane.
Professor Matthew Lasner had tweeted earlier that his husband, Dan Goldstein, was chasing the couple down in the terminal "to harass them."
He later Tweeted again saying he and his husband were removed from a flight after his husband "expressed displeasure" about flying with Ivanka Trump.
Mr Lasner said staff kicked them off the flight from New York's Kennedy airport to Florida on Thursday after overhearing his husband's remarks.
An eyewitness told TMZ that Mr Goldstein was “screaming” at Ms Trump, saying “why is she on our flight? She should be flying private.”
According to the other passenger, Ms Trump did not respond and distracted her children with crayons.
JetBlue explained it removed the men to avoid "the risk of escalation during flight" and said they were rebooked for the next available flight.
In a statement, the airline said: “The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly.
“If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."
A spokeswoman for the Trump family declined comment but did not dispute the accounts.
Mr Lasner has since deleted his Twitter account.
