Police who raided a crystal meth lab in Australia made a surprising discover when they found a drug-addicted python.

The snake was checked in to a prison rehabilitation centre in Windsor, south of Sydney.

Seven months later, the “very aggressive” snake has returned to normal behaviour under the care of 14 prisoners selected to work in a wildlife care programme.
