The family of murdered British teacher Lindsay Hawker have flown out to Japan to tell the man they believe killed her: "We are not going to stop coming back."
Lindsay's parents, Bill and Julia Hawker, are travelling to Tokyo with their other daughters, Lisa and Louise, on the second anniversary of Miss Hawker's death.
The 22-year-old from Brandon, Coventry, was murdered after she taught private student Tatsuya Ichihashi in a coffee shop in Tokyo on March 25, 2007.
Mr Hawker said: "I am sure eventually Ichihashi will be caught but until he's caught we as a family, as my daughter says, we're in limbo."
Miss Hawker's body was found buried in a bath of sand on Ichihashi's balcony.
Ichihashi, 29, a loner and social misfit, has not been seen since the discovery in March 2007.
Although some believe he committed suicide, Miss Hawker's family have not given up hope that he will be tracked down.
Lisa Hawker said: "I don't believe he's committed suicide at all.
"The way that he planned to continue living with Lindsay's body in his apartment showed that he had absolutely no remorse.
"The way that he murdered her, he's not a human being. I don't think he's got enough guilt."
