A Topshop manager has claimed she was sexually harassed by Sir Philip Green as part of a year-long bullying campaign.

Auna Irvine alleges that he repeatedly grabbed her by the waist and slapped her bottom and made comments about her breasts and weight.

The former manager of one of the billionaire’s flagship US stores has become the first woman to publicly accuse Sir Philip of sexual harassment.

Last month he was named in Parliament as the businessman at the centre of sexual harassment and bullying claims.

The media has been barred from reporting the accusations in Britain because of an injunction. The tycoon has vehemently denied the allegations.

Ms Irvine, 33, who managed the chain’s store in Vegas, claims she first met the businessman in February 2012. She said: “He was extremely flirty and touchy from the moment he met me.”

Schillings, the law firm representing Sir Philip, last night said Miss Irvine was an unreliable witness who had been fired for giving clothing to her boyfriend and putting it through the checkout as damaged.
