Police have appealed for help in finding a sex offender who has been missing since April after attacking an eight-year-old boy in the toilets of a restaurant.
Kamil Krziszt Krawiec, 26, has not been seen since he was given a 10-month suspended prison term at Blackfriars Crown Court in London on April 21, police said.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said Krawiec had failed to comply with the probation conditions of his court order and had not updated his sex offender registration.
He said the delay between Krawiec's disappearance and the public appeal was "not unusual", and officers had been trying to trace him since he was reported missing.
The Met said Krawiec pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the boy in a restaurant on December 9 last year where he was working as a waiter. The child, who was having a meal with his family, had been attacked after he went to the restaurant's toilets by himself.
Krawiec had also admitted to a charge of voyeurism after staff at Victoria train station in London saw him looking into a toilet cubicle at a 15-year-old boy.
At his sentencing, the judge ordered that Krawiec remain under supervision by the probation service and his details placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years, the Met said.
But police said he had failed to comply with the order and had quickly disappeared from the address in Hackney, east London, that he had given authorities.
Polish-born Krawiec also used the surname Kraviec, and had links to Hackney and Earls Court in London. He is described as white, 5ft 11ins, of slim build with green eyes and light brown hair, which was dyed with blond highlights at time of his offending.
