Murder probe after body found

A murder investigation is under way after police found the body of a woman in a seaside town.

The woman, who has not yet been identified and is believed to have been in her 50s, was found on Friday afternoon at a property in St Ives, Cornwall.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and is in custody at Camborne Police Station.

Police said the scene has been secured and a murder investigation has been launched.
