Mick Fleetwood has delighted legions of fans online by recreating a widely-shared TikTok of a man skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac's hit song Dreams.
The track was propelled back to the top of the charts last month after Nathan Apodaca posted a clip of himself skateboarding and drinking cranberry juice while mouthing the lyrics to the 1977 classic.
The video, shared under his handle @420dogface208, became an online hit and prompted a huge social media response.
Fleetwood, 73, has now set up his own TikTok account and recreated the video himself.
The British drummer can be seen lip-syncing to bandmate Stevie Nicks' lyrics as he glides along, nodding and smiling, in the 20-second clip.
He appears to be skating or walking steadily along in the rain, wearing a dark grey t-shirt and gold pendant, and drinking from a carton of the same Ocean Spray cranberry juice as the original poster.
He added the caption: "@420dogface208 had it right, Dreams and Cranberry just hits different."
The video was liked more than 500,000 times within hours, and Fleetwood has already amassed nearly 100,000 followers.
Mr Apodaca, who lives Idaho, told his new followers he was struggling for money after going viral, and has since received more than $10,000 in donations. He has said he will upgrade his RV and donate at least $5,000 to his mother.
On Monday, he posted his thanks to the drummer for recreating the clip, writing that he was "beyond blessed" and calling for "steady vibing".
The band's official social media accounts had previously shared their love for the TikTok user's video on Twitter, writing: “We love this!”
Dreams is currently still at number 28 on the Rolling Stone top 100 popular songs.
