The All Blacks prepared for their bruising encounter with England at Twickenham this weekend by training at a high end fitness club in Kensington.

New Zealand's legendary rugby team overcame England by 30-22 in an absorbing Test match on Saturday - and their coaches credited the swanky facilities of the Equinox club as one of the key reasons for their success.

The Kiwis' strength and conditioning coach, Nicholas Gill, said: "It's exciting to finally have a fitness club in London that matches our approach to training and performance.

"The space and facilities at Equinox Kensington have been ideal to get the team ready for Saturday’s game."

Drills focused on agility and power to prepare the star-studded squad for the weekend's highly anticipated clash.

'Eccentric loaded chest press' exercises, 'side planks' and 'half squat lateral walks' gave the players grounding they needed to edge past England.

The club's Kensington branch is the first in London, with US outlets proving a hit with celebrities looking to get into shape.

But last week, the branch was the centre of the serious business of preparing for a top level international rugby match.
