Jeremy Corbyn has suffered another tumultuous day with a raft of fresh walkouts following the exodus of shadow cabinet members on Sunday.

The embattled Labour leader was also jeered by his own MPs as he hit out at their "factional manoeuvring" in a post-Brexit statement to the Commons this afternoon.

Dozens of Labour MPs have now resigned from shadow cabinet and junior minister posts over his failure to help swing the EU referendum in favour of Remain.

But he has vowed to battle on in the face of repeated calls to stand down and has now moved to reform his top team.
