Tory MPs will crowd into the Commons Chamber this evening, once Parliament has adjourned, for the annual photograph of the 1922 Committee. A snapper will be in the galleries to take the picture of the massed Tories below. There is, I am told, a certain amount of jockeying to be next to or near David Cameron. Only a couple of months ago they would have been competing to be as far away from the PM as possible but it is perhaps a measure of the party’s change in confidence that they now want to suck up to their leader.
