How Ben faced the naked truth

Pippa Middleton was at Notting Hill bookshop Lutyens & Rubinstein last night to support Ben Fogle at the launch of The Accidental Naturalist.

The memoir traces the TV presenter’s life and includes recollections of a trip to London spa The Sanctuary to assist his vet father with the treatment of a pool of koi carp. “In those days, women wandered around naked,” he writes of the spa. “My father doesn’t recall any naked women but I was a red-blooded 13-year-old, and my eyes stood out on stalks.” Pippa is loyal to her friends. Last week she was at the premiere of Shadow Dancer, the screenplay of which was written by ITN political editor and pal Tom Bradby.
