Jeremy Hunt was allowed out in front of the cameras last night as he attended the Conservatives’ Summer Ball. The Culture Secretary was part of a Tory clan including Justice Secretary Ken Clarke and Cabinet office minister Francis Maude, who stepped up for the party at Phillips de Pury in Victoria. Bankers seemed to be thin on the ground but adding glitter to proceedings were Felicia Brocklebank and jeweller Nadja Swarovski, nightclub owner Piers Adam and his wife Sophie, interior decorator Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill and film maker Alison Jackson.
