The demolition of Tottenham Hotspur’s former stadium continued on Saturday as work began to raze part of White Hart Lane to the ground.
Dramatic photos show large machinery smashing into the side of the ground’s West Stand, sending dust and debris flying into the air.
Other photos taken on Saturday morning show trucks surrounding huge piles of rubble as the massive demolition job continued.
One of the stadium’s two iconic golden cockerels which had been atop of the West Stand was taken down on Friday ahead of today’s demolition work, while the statue on the East Stand remained in place.
The golden cockerels have been symbols of the team ever since their move to White Hart Lane 118 years ago.

It came less than 24 hours after Tottenham played their final match on the turf with a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
At the end of the match fans ran onto the pitch in a send-off to celebrate their last ever game at the ground.
The demolition work is expected to take three months with the team moving all home games to Wembley Stadium for 2017-18.
The plan is for Spurs to return to north London in time for the following football season.
The stadium redevelopment will see Tottenham move into a 61,559-seat stadium which is currently being built on the same site.
Prior to Sunday’s finale, club chairman Daniel Levy said: “We have outgrown our current home and we are building a wonderful new home right here. We are not moving.
“The new pitch will overlap the old one. Our new home will slowly embrace and engulf the old one.”
