Retailer gives men a helping hand in finding a present for that special lady

Clueless men searching for the perfect Christmas gift for the special ladies in their lives are being offered a helping hand this year thanks to a London perfumer.

The new Miller Harris store in Green Park has set up a personal shopper service for husbands, fathers and brothers seeking inspiration as the big day approaches.

From tomorrow until Sunday, customers will be able to consult a member of staff for professional advice on how to keep their women happy.

They will be questioned on their loved ones’ likes and dislikes to build up a picture and solve the time immemorial present conundrum once and for all.

Each man will then be given a gift box and helped to fill it as they go around the shop.

A spokesman said: “Customers will be made to feel special – with a glass of champagne and macaroons - spoken to intelligently, helped to make an informed decision and not made to feel stupid.”

Men's weekend is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 21 Bruton Street, W1. For more visit www.millerharris.com.
