Pippa Middleton made her first appearance at Wimbledon this year to cheer on an unprecedented four-strong British contingent.

The 28-year-old and her brother James were due to take a seat in the Royal Box to watch Andy Murray take on Ivo Karlovic on Centre Court.

Miss Middleton, a keen tennis fan, was wearing a navy blue dress, boxy blue and white jacket and her trademark Givenchy sunglasses.

The other Brits on court today are James Ward, who will play Mardy Fish on Court One, Anne Keothovong against Sara Errani on Court Two and Elena Baltacha who meets 2011 champion Petra Kvitova later on Court One.

Britain's Heather Watson is already through to the third round, the first British woman to reach that position in a decade.
