Thousands of people marched through the moonlit streets of London on Saturday night in support of those suffering with breast cancer.
The 20th annual MoonWalk London saw 15,000 men and women – adorned with decorated bras – power walking 26 miles through the capital.
The march was in aide of Walk the Walk – the charity behind the event – which provides grants for research and support for those suffering with breast cancer.
Participants walked a loop of the capital’s landmarks, starting and finishing at Clapham Common, and dressed up in the theme of the “Roaring Twenties”.
Organiser and founder of Walk the Walk Worldwide, Nina Barough, praised the “awe inspiring” event, which had raised £3.7 million before it had even started.
“I think our twentieth year was certainly marked in style," she said. "Our Walkers looked magnificent!
"The energy of everyone coming together before the walk was electric. And even the early morning rain hasn’t really dampened anyone’s spirits.
"It was the most extraordinary birthday party and it really felt like the end of an era and the beginning of the next part of the story”.
