Man fighting for his life after being struck by a car in Feltham

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was struck by a car on a busy A road.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene on the A30, The Causeway, in Feltham just after 6.30pm on Sunday after receiving reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car.

Officers and LAS attended and found a man in his 30s had been injured.

He was rushed to a central London hospital with life threatening injuries.

Roads in the area were closed, and motorists were warned that delays were likely and advised to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.

Police are making enquiries into the incident.
