Dramatic video has captured the moment a car, said to be a minicab, burst into flames outside King's Cross last night.
Footage and photos show the white vehicle being engulfed as firefighters battle to get it under control. London Fire Brigade confirmed it had been called to the blaze in Euston Road shortly before midnight.
Many took to social media to post pictures of the incident, with some alleging the vehicle involved was displaying a private hire badge. Uber said the driver had not been working for them.
Two lanes of the road were shut in the aftermath of the fire.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said no one was hurt in the fire.

"We were called at 11.52pm yesterday to reports of a car on fire on Euston Road," he said. "We sent a number of resources to the scene including the hazardous area response team. There were no patients."
